Tiesha studied the greatest professionals in her industry, Sam Fine being her number 1 inspiration for becoming an artist. Impressed that he like herself was from Chicago and had succeeded at the highest level in make-up artistry. Her love for make-up artistry began with noticing how models always looked different from the masses so she was fascinated that she studied and replicated the looks from magazines and or movies. Working in fashion exposed her to models and designers first hand which fueled her passion and love of the artistry. One day at a MAC counter in Vernon Hills, IL Tiesha was shopping with a lady who she did not know was the manager at that counter that she was shopping at. The manager asked Tiesha if she wanted a job with MAC after talking to her about the products and the brand, the manager was surprised that Tiesha knew so much about the company so after quizzing her she offered Tiesha the job it was a 10hr position. Tiesha did not have any make-up on that day was absolutely surprised and pursued the position for three months until she got hired in 2008. Tiesha felt it was a dream come true as the public always thought herself to be an artist and she would often get asked to do freelance jobs before working with the major cosmetics brand. Tiesha is an artist because she believes in the power of transformation. Not just from an outer perspective she believes beauty transforms from within. She desires to bring forward confidence through her make-up brush. Her Style is Glamorous, Edgy, Dramatic yet sophisticated, mysterious and timeless. When asked: how did you become a Make-up artist? She says “I was Elected by the people”
